SER Analysis for High-Order Modulated Physical Layer Network Coding over AWGN Channels

摘要: 扩展了最近邻近似方法使之能描述物理层网络编码的误符号率,并用该方法分析了双向中继网络中物理层网络编码在高阶调制下的误符号率. 以8PSK为例,推导了高阶调制下PNC在AWGN信道中误符号率的闭式表达. 研究发现,固定一个源节点的发射功率时,系统的SER并不会随着另一端源节点功率的提高而单调递减. 蒙
特卡罗仿真结果表明,所得表达式能正确刻画8PSK调制下物理层网络编码的误符号率.

Abstract: We extend the nearest neighbor approximation method and investigate the symbol error rate (SER) over AWGN channels for physical layer network coding with high order modulation. We derive a closed-form expression of PNC’s SER with 8PSK modulation over AWGN channels. We find that, when the power of one source node is fixed, SER of PNC does not monotonously decrease with the increase of the power of the other source node. Simulation results show that the derived SER expression can characterize the SER performance of PNC’s SER with 8PSK modulation over AWGN channels.
