Abstract: In this paper, a joint detection (JD) technique with delay coding is used for the downlink of multi-user MIMO MC-CDMA systems. Compared with VBLAST downlink signal detection, JD detection provides better performances and can be applied in case the number of receiving antennas is less than transmitting antennas. The paper also studies bit error rate of the system using Alamouti coding with two transmitters and two receivers.
