SIMILARITY FOR LOSSY ELECTROMAGNETIC SYSTEMS

Abstract

Abstract: Models of electromagnetic systems have been widely used for studies of wave radiation, scattering and transmission. The similarity between the model system and the full-scale system for the lossless electromagnetic system is well-known. In this paper, we introduce their similarity for lossy electromagnetic systems and discuss the similarity for bounded regions, which is useful to modeling measurements and scaling calculations before designing some electromagnetic systems.
