Abstract: The remote field eddy current (RFEC) technique is a new powerful tool for pipe inspection. ln this paper the diffusive energy flow of RFEC has been systematically analyzed with finite element method upon electromagnetic theory. Results show that it has wave-like phenomena for diffusive energy flow of RFEC in both quasistatic and translent excltion.
