Abstract: The characteristics of laminar flow and heat transfer of falling liquid film along a vertical plate in the developing region are analyzed by using the boundary layer similarity solution. The relationship between the developing length of hydrodynamic and thermal boudary layer and heat transfer coefficient for constant surface temperature are obtained.
