Abstract: Unlike conventional aircrafts, hypersonic vehicles require that the propulsion system be integrated into the airframe. As a result, the hypersonic vehicle model is highly nonlinear and possesses significant input-output coupling. In order to provide satisfactory nonlinear decoupling ability and maintain good longitudinal stability, we apply nonlinear dynamic inversion control in designing the flight control system of the hypersonic vehicle.Simulation studies show that the approach can meet the control system requirements.
