Abstract: A new model for analyzing mutual interference for multi-WPANs coexistence system is presented. Using this model and taking adjacent and co-channel interference into account, impact of distributing density of WPANs, distance between transmitter and receiver, path loss exponent, and packet length on packet error probability are discussed.Forward data transmission rates with different length packets are then obtained. Based on these analysis, methods for improving data transmission rates in two representative applications of WPAN are proposed based on characteristics of these applications.
