Research on the Deformation and the Energy Absorption of Cellular Aluminum Under Compression

Abstract: The characteristics of cellular aluminum specimen under compression were investigated, and the effects of porosity and pore-diameter on energy absorption of cellular aluminum were revealed. Finally, a comprehensive method for justifying the energy absorption of cellular aluminum with different porosity and pore-diameters was proposed.
