Abstract: We have improved the security mechanism of WEP in wireless LAN and implemented the algorithm of one-time pad at less cost.It was illustrated that our method is more practical and simple in comparison with TKIP & Key Hopping. Though this scheme was designed for wireless network, it is also available for wired network, and its implementation will be easier.
