ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS AS APPLIED TO DIAGNOSIS OF LUNG CANCER

Abstract: Artificial neural networks has been applied to biomedical engineering and life science. In this paper, a modified backpropagation algorithm (MBP) is developed for di-agnosis of lung cancer.This algorithm gives quite high correct recognition rate with its mean being 84. 5per cent.
