Abstract: This paper studies the inverse question of period distribution of cyclic codes——whether there exists some[n,k]-cyclic codes over finite field Fq for a given positive integer n and a nonnegative integer sequence {A1,A2,…,An},so that the period distribution of these codes is exactly {A1,A2,…,An}.
