Abstract: This paper presents a simple and novel finite difference scheme for the two-dimonsional current continuity equation, which can preclude nonphysical oscillations and effciently reduce the crosswind effect. In comparison with the classical multidimensional S-G scheme and the SUPG scheme the present scheme exhibits bettr numerical properties,so it can be applied in computer simulation of semiconductor devices.
