Abstract: An efficient technique for analyzing the discontinuities of the partial height E-plane strip is presented. The curves for the equivalent circuit parameters of the discontinuities are obtained, which are of great value to engineering. A Ka-band bandpass filter composed of E-plane strips with partial height, for the first time, is fabricated. The experimental results show that this configuration has good bandstop performance.
