Abstract: New formulas for calculating the pressure per unit surface, mean pressure per unit surface and total compression load for perfect cross shear cold rolling are proposed:px=2K-qh+(qh-qH)(lnhx/h)/(lnH/h)px=2K-qH+(qh-qH)(lnhx/h)/(lnH/h)The new formulas, compared with O. Hoffman's formula, have higher accuracy. Based on these new formulas, a new theory of friction-free hill in crass shear cold rolling is proposed.
