Image Rotation Angle Estimation on JPEG Compressed Images via Third-order Differential Prefiltering Operation and Cyclostationarity Analysis

摘要: 为了提高JPEG图像旋转角度估计的准确率,本文提出一种结合预滤波和循环谱分析的JPEG图像旋转角度估计方法。首先,对差分滤波后的待检测图像进行循环谱分析,其图像信号具有循环周期性;然后,设计预滤波器减小JPEG块效应对图像频谱的影响;最后,根据得到的旋转特征峰的位置估计出旋转角度。实验结果表明,所提算法对旋转角度估计的准确率优于现有算法。

Abstract: In this paper, we propose to estimate the rotation angle of JPEG compressed image based on prefilter and cyclic spectral analysis in order to improve detection performance. We first mathematically show the cyclostationarity of differentially filtered images. And then we design a prefilter to reduce the effect of JPEG block artifacts on the image spectrum, further improving the detection ability. At last, the rotation angle is estimated based on the locations of characteristic peaks. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed detection method outperforms some state-of-the-art methods.
