Na|β-Al2O3|NaxHg1-x(液态)电池电动势的测量和计算

摘要: 应用Na|β-Al2O3|Hg固体电解质电池,制备了68个钠汞齐NaxHg1-x(x:0.035~0.8846)组分.从Na/NaxHg1-x电池电动势的测量,测定了NaxHg1-x的熔点和在熔化过程电池反应中的熵变和焓变.实验得出Na/NaxHg1-x(液态)电池电动势E和汞齐中的钠摩尔分数x存在E=a(-lgx)b的关系式.线性方程式lgE=lga+blg (-lgx)中的lgab在各个组分x(0.065~0.16,0.16~0.333,0.333~0.715)和温度范围内分别是温度的线性函数.

Abstract: Sixty-eight sodium amalgams NaxHg1-x (x:0. 035~0. 8846) are prepared using the Na|β-Al2O3|Hg solid electrolyte cells. The melting points of Nax Hg1-x, and the entropy and enthalpy changes of the cell reactions in the melting procets aredetermined from EMF measurements on Na/NaxHg1-x cells, Experimental results show that the relatiodship between the EMF and sodium molar fraction x in the Na/NaxHg1-x(liqui) cells may be expressed as E=a (-lgx)b. For the ranges of x:0.06~0.16,0.16~0.333,0.333~0.715 and the different temperature ranges,the lga and b in the relation of lgE=lga+blg (-lgx) are obtained which are linear functions of the temperature.
