一种高线性度的电流调节式CMOS中频可变增益放大器

摘要: 基于模拟乘法器设计了一种电流调节式中频可变增益放大器,并根据强反型下MOSFET的I-V模型(考虑二阶效应)建立和分析了电路非线性模型,提出了一种线性度优化方法.基于0.25 μm CMOS工艺的模拟结果表明,电源电压3.3 V下可变增益放大器与优化前相比在输入信号最大时IM3减小了33 dB,增益控制范围增大了12 dB;最小增益处ⅡP3达到17.5 dBm,最大增益处噪声系数为7.8 dB.

Abstract: A current-steering IF VGA based on an analog multiplier is designed.A nonlinear model is established and analyzed based on the MOSFET I-V model in strong inversion, and a linearity optimization method is presented.Simulation results based on 0.25 μm CMOS technology indicate that about a 33 dB decrease in the third order inter-modulation at maximum input and a 12 dB increase in gain control range of the optimized VGA with 3.3 V supply voltage are obtained.The ⅡP3 at the minimum gain setting is 17.5 dBm, and the minimum NF is 7.8 dB.
