摘要: 研究了基于移动WiMAX系统的系统级仿真评估平台的建模和实现. 针对无线信道仿真运算量太大的问题,提出了一种利用局域网内多台计算机进行分布式联合仿真的方案. 该方案将不同移动台的信道按小区号分组,使信道仿真在多台计算机上实现并行计算,有效缩短仿真时间. 此外,该系统级仿真评估平台为调度、切换、自适应编码调制和接纳控制等算法提供了通用接口,具有良好的可扩展性. 仿真结果显示,所提出的分布式实现方法不但有与理论值相一致的仿真性能,而且在使用3个和5个信道仿真器的情况下,使仿真时间分别缩短了36.2%和60.3%.

Abstract: Modeling and implementation of a system level evaluation platform based on mobile WiMAX are studied. In order to alleviate the heavy computational burden in simulating wireless channels, a distributed simulation scheme, which manages several computers in a local network, is proposed. This scheme groups channels of different mobile stations according to their cell identities, and then disassembles the channel simulator into multiple computers to achieve parallel computing and reduce simulation time. Moreover, this simulation platform provides interfaces for different algorithms, i.e., scheduling, handover, adaptive modulation and coding, and admission control, to enable scalability. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme achieves reasonable system performance in consistence with theoretical values. When 3 and 5 channel simulators are used, simulation time is reduced by 36.2% and 60.3%, respectively.
