Abstract: For the coupled system of the glass prism and the glass waveguide formed by ion exchange, changes of the input-coupling efficiency η as the incident wave propagation constant βi have been measured by detecting reflective light intensity of the prism base at different coupling gaps. There by, physics paramete rsrelated to input-coupling have been determined.
