Abstract: A two-dimensional, multiphase, compressible, compositional reservoir simulator has been developed, and applied to micellar/polymer flooding. The mathematical model for the two-dimensional enhanced oil recovery simulation can be described by a system of nonlinear partial differential equations. We put forward a class of finite difference scheme. The estimates obtained are the best possible.
