THE RESEARCH ON IMPROVING REGENERATION ABILITY OF THE DIESEL ENGING EXHAUST PARTICULATE FILTER BY INFRARED RADIATION

Abstract: The author puts forward a new conceptionic improve regeneration ability of the honeycomb ceramic filter for diesel engine exhaust particulate by infrared radiation. Heating principle of infrared radiation and heating character of infrared radiating material are discussed. The three regeneration plans with or without infrared radiating material coating have been experimented. The experimental results indicate that the new concoption is feasible.
