A Study on the Bubbling of the Anti-stickiness Coating on ZL102 Casting Al Alloy for Cooking Utensils

Abstract: The cause of the bubbling of anti stickiness coating on ZL102 casting Al alloy cooking utensils is discussed. By metalloscope and electronic probe, it is found that the bubbling may result from the impurities which remain in the flaws (such as bubbles loose structures etc.) if refiring and modification are inadequate, when cooking utensils are used at high temperature a pressure leading to the formation of bubbles will be produced with the impurities diffusing from inside to the surface.
