Abstract: In this paper, we discuss the principle of the Rake receiver for cdma2000 1x reverse link. The fixed-point simulation platform is also developed by COSSAP. We compare the simulation performance between fixed-point and float-point and study the degradation due to the finite word length implementation of the Rake receiver and viterbi decoder with various A/D quantizers for a cdma2000 1x reverse link.
