Abstract: This paper analyzes the convergence of decomposition projective method(DPM) and fast decomposition projective method(FDPM), both of which aim at solving the electromagnetic problems on multi-branch domains. This paper also proves that the convergence rate of FDPM is fast than that of DPM. FDPM's application shows that its convergence rate is very quick. The iterative number of FPDM equals to about one third of the former method.
