Abstract: By analyzing sub band decomposition of linear frequency modulation (LFM) signals, a subband signal processing based time frequency cell delete (SSP TFCD) algorithm for LFM interference suppression is proposed. Because the algorithm makes good use of the time frequency localization feature of the subband decomposition, signal distortion is minimized when interference is deleted. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is superior to the SSP based subband deletion algorithm.
