Abstract:
To deal with massive data produced by the 3G network security management system, a load balancing algorithm is developed. Base on Hayat’s dynamic load balancing model for a distributed system, a stochastic load-transfer delay model is proposed using selective load allocation. The optimal value of the load balancing gain is given via simulation. Stability of the load balancing method is a key issue in parallel computation. Unstable behaviors can greatly influence the performance. By analyzing stability of the improved algorithm using the control theory and the related techniques, a formula for the percentage of excessive load is revised to satisfy the demand of 3G-network security management.
