Abstract: In this paper, a hidden voice transmission scheme based on single sideband modulation (SSB) is proposed. Firstly, a band-stop filter is used to remove specific spectral components in background calls. Then, the voice that needs to be transmitted confidentially is embedded into the frequency domain cavity of normal voice in the form of SSB, thus realizing hidden voice transmission on smart phones. According to this scheme, the prototype system has been made to realize hidden voice transmission without changing the existing mobile phone software and hardware.

Key words: hidden voice transmission, single side band (SSB) modulation, prototype system, frequency domain embedment
