Abstract: The aperture field distribution of the ring focus antenna is reviewed in view of the energy conservation law, and the simple formula for calculating its radiation pattern is deduced. The method has the characteristics of clear con-cept, simple calculation formula and easy programming. lt is suitable for enginee-ring calculation and analysis of the ring focus antenna.
