In this paper, the GNES approach is applied to calculate the capacities of directional couplers. The high precision calculation of matrix elements and accuracy analysis are discussed. The numerical results of its capacities for different configurations(the symmetric and asymmetric, coaxal and non-coaxial double-cylinders and double elliptic cylinders) inner conductors are presented. The practical calculation shows that the GNES approach is successful in high accurate calculation with bigh speed and is the one of the best modern approaches.

To find solutions of electromagnetic scattering in nonuniform complex media is complex and difficult. This paper establishes difference equations of elec-tromagaetic scattering problem in complex media by integral interpolation me-thod to partial differential equation. The process of modeling and FDE's constru-citron applied in electromagnetic scattering problems in anisotropic and rotary wave zaedia are given. We also analyse in terception errors of difference equations. Numerical results of typical problems show that this method is valid.

This paper indicates that LSS (least square sphere) sphericity error doesn't keep invariant with respect to coordinates translation but QES (quadratic equation sphere) sphericity error can. Method which can efficiently eliminate the twice positional error as a result of turning over the sphere for its full shape test has been firstly. proposed, and the formula of QES sphericity error has been esta-blished by means of QES fitting.

In this paper, a method is presented for determination of actuator numbers and locations for the active vibration modal control of flexible structures. This method is based on the complex modal analysis and dynamic sensitivity analysis. It is thought that the actuator assignmentin in vibration coatrol systems should depend on natural properties of systems, but should not depend on a particular choice of initial conditions or control laws.

According to the theory of carbon balance, it is shown that the cha-racteristic parameters of the grid coke in B. F are deteriorated with the increase of coal injection rate. lnvestigations into the effect of coke quality, solution loss, insititu-reduction and coke-melt reactions on the coke beat strength as well as increasing the ore preneduction degree and using new charging technic to restrain the coke degradtion are intraduced. With the above aim, the optimum of B. F operation under an ultra coal injection rate is discussed.

The conventional Glalerkin finite element metbod is only applicable to discretizing elliptic equations. In many flow or heat-transfer problems, the governing equations may change type; they become hyperbolic because convection is dominating. The solutions are often corrupted by node-to-node oscillations or ‘wiggles’ the Streamline-Upwind Petrov-Galerkin finite element method can inbibit the crosswind. diffusion and improve the computational accuracy. Two aumerical exarnples are given:the flow of Oldroyd-B fluid around a sphere in a tube and the nonisothermal agitating flow When the Weissenberg number or the Peclet umber is high, the Ga]erlkin method produces, wiggles' while SUPG method yields good results.

For the single machine scheduling problem with number of tardy jobs and controllable processing times, Daniels and Sarin gave some results for con-trucking the tradeoff curve between the number of tardy jobs and the total crashing times, but they had not developed such an algorithm. Under the condition of all wj equal to one, this paper analyses some results given in their paper, proves the number of efficient values in the tradeoff curve. Basing on considering only on the number of tardy jobs and the method given by Daniela and Sarin, the peper develops also an algorithm for constracting such a tradeoff curve.

The receptivity, conductive type, Hall mobility and photoluminescence (PL) of semimagnetic semiconductor (SMSC) Cd1-xMnxTe crystal films grown from Te-ricb solution were measured. All these results showed that the quality and stability of crystal films grown were better than Cd1-xMnxTe bulk crystal grown by Bridgeman technique. The cause of absorptive edge existing within 0.85~1.5 μm range in infrared transmittance spectrum was investigated based on the viewpoint that the first excited state (4T1) of Mn2+3d in tetrahedral crystal field appeared in the bandgap of Cd1-xMnxTe crystal.
