OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE OF A MAGNETIC STIRLING REFRIGERATOR

Abstract: In this paper, the effect of the irreversibility of heat conduction, and finite rate processes on the optimal performance of a magnetic Stirling refrigerator are studied. The relation between the optimal rate of refrigeration and the performance coefficient is derived, Thus, it will provide some bases for the optimum design of a magnetic Stirling refrigerator and the reasonable choice of the magnetic material.
