Abstract: Recently, increasing attention has been paid to solving the electromagnetic problems by FEM. Computation of the field distribution of the antisymmetry magnetic head by the DE2D is descri bed and its characteristics are revealed in this paper. The results obtained have important bearing on the improvement of the design of the magnetic head.
