Abstract: The exponential functions over a finite field, which are chosen as some nonlinear permutations, are illustrated in details. Two new principles of designing S-boxes are proposed. Series of cryptographic parameters are calculated with characteristics of equivalent I/O differential distribution. And an assumption is put forward.
