Abstract: In this paper, the analytical procedure for functionally gradient material (FGM) plates is developed based on the classical theory of laminated plates and the computational mathematical method.Temperature solutions are obtained for the steady state. Utilizing the material properties of each hypothetical layer,the effective properties are estimated and thermal stress distributions are caloulated.
