Abstract: Ad hoc networks are multi-hop wireless networks without fixed infrastructure.Reliability is a fundamental consideration.A measure of network balance is defined by node importance to evaluate the reliability of networks.Analysis and simulation results show that this measure reflects the performance of networks and can effectively evaluate the network reliability.
