Abstract: Basing on the reflection spectrum of a FBG filter, the impacts of intraband coherent crosstalk and intraband incoherent crosstalk in an OXC based on demultiplexers using fiber Bragg grating (FBG) filters, deduces the system power penalty and discusses in detail the dependence of system degradation on the coupling coefficient, grating length and polarization matching factor, etc.
