Abstract: The visible and infrared stimulated Raman scatterings of a single-mode fibre have been investigated experimentally. Stimulated Raman scattering of more than 7-orders for visible light and more than 3-orders for infrared have been observed. In addition, the IR anti-Stockes SRS with continuous spectrum has also been observed.
