摘要: 本文通过测定厦门海域沉积物中226Ra的水平分布,了解到九龙江人海泥沙大部分是沿着九龙江水的主流方向经厦门外港输入外海,也有一小部分泥沙随着余流进入厦门西港(即主航道),但进入西港的泥沙主要是停留在嵩鼓海峡(即嵩屿与鼓浪屿之间),对嵩鼓航道产生一定淤积,对厦鼓海峡(即厦门与鼓浪屿之间)的影响极小,这结论和我们用测定沉积物中总β的分布研究九龙江泥沙运动所得的结果一致[1].

Abstract: By determining the horizontal distribution of 226Ra in sediments of Xiamen Sea Area, it is found that the most silts from Jiulong River move to the offshore area along the main current direction of Jiulong River through the outside Xiamen Harbour and only a very small part of the silts enter the west Xiamen Harbour (i. e. the principal channel) with the residual current. The greater part of the silts do not enter the east-section of the west harbour but stop in the west-section of the harbour. This has effects on the channel of the west-section, not on that of the east -section. The results are in agreement with those obtained in other ways.
