Abstract: A simplified method of using 1N hydrochloric acid in extracting of animal tissue samples before being checked by atomic absorption and flame spectrometry has been tried and tested successfully. It oan be used specially in the determination of certain metailic contents, such as that of K, Na, Ca, Mg, Ou, Zn, Fe and Mn, in the animal tissues from pork, beef, chicken, fowl eggs, powdered fishes, powdered milk, and the blood of chicken.
The deta of there teats, in compared with that of conventional method of HNO3-HClO4, show a striking resemblances except for Fe. If an average relative deviation wich comes within 5% with absolute deviation within 0.05% are allowed, thss method may be suggested to put into practical use.
