Abstract: The conditions for perfect absorption under oblique incidence in a single-layer homogeneous absorber backed by a perfect conducting plate is studied in this paper. The oases corresponding to the two types of polarization of the incidence-wave, perpendicular polarization (TE) and parallel polarization (TM), are discussed respectively. Some conclusions and curves are given.
