STUDY OF THE DYNAMIC RE AD/WRITE PROPERTIES OF MAGNETO-OPTICAL (MO) DISKS

Abstract: This paper reports the dynamic read/write properties of magneto-optical (MO) disks having an AIN/TbFeOo/AlN/Al multilayer structure. When the recording bit size is 1 μm, the value of carrier to noise ratio (0/N) of MO disks exceeds 45 dB. This paper also discusses some reasons which affect 0/N, according to the measured results.
