Abstract: This paper, according to the principle of Minimum Conditions in national and international standards of shape-position errors, builds a mathematical model with coordinate methods for evaluating cylindrieity errors, provides Several kinds of methods and individual programming block-diagrams for solving this model, and compares the advantages and disadvantages for all of these methods through computing an example from practice.

Key words: oylindrioity, Minimum Condition, gradient, coordinate transformation
