摘要: 色散平坦光纤可用于波分复用技术,对长距离大容量通讯系统具有很大吸引力.文中选择四包层单模光纤作为研究对象,概述了四包层结构的基本理论,对有关传输特性和结构参数进行了考虑和计算.通过工艺试制,获得了从1.3-1.55μm波长范围具有低色散特性的单模光纤.

Abstract: Dispersion-flat fibers are very attractive for long distance high-bit optical fiber communication systems. This paper discusses the theory of the quadruple-clad single-mode fibers, and describes their design and performance. The initial experimental results, concerning a fiber with low dispersion over the 1.3μm -1.55μm wavelength interval are presented.
