Abstract: Based on the consideration that the acceptable region of 10's is capable of change, a method of multiple-criterion optimization with income maximization is proposed and the procedure of solving approximation function of income maximization is given. Then taking the optimal design of a real circuit for example, the necessity of replacing yield maximization with income maximization for the optimization design of Id's is demonstrated.
