Abstract: Researches on machining errors of thin-walled parts are reviewed. The importance and specific requirements of the cutting force model in the errors analysis are presented and emphasized.Based on the existing publications, advantages and disadvantages of the models are commented, and some improvements proposed.Combined with cutting experiments, the cutting force models in different cutting zones are built. Accuracy of the model is verified in experiments.
