The paper is in 2 parts. The first part is the analysis of why the low altitude is limited in frequency modification continuous wave Doppler navigation radar. It demonstrates that the radar works at zero altitude when J1 (M1) side frequencies are adopted. Here, J1 (M1) is the first order of Bessel function. Otherwise, there is a limitation in minimum altitude. The calculation method for this minimum working altitude is deduced. The second part is the analysis of why there is a low altitude limitation in pulse Doppler navigation radar and a simple and direct method for calculating the minimum working altitude is deduced. This method is used to calculate the minimum working altitude of AN-APN-220C Doppler navigation radar. It is found that the result is in agreement with the value measured by TELEDYNE RYAN Co. in U. S. A.

A single-beam photoaooustio spectroscope system with the spectrum normalized by means of a microcomputer is described. The evaluation of the system is done by analyzing the spectrum of Ho2O3. Photoacoustio spectra for several samples, such as different types of iron oxides crystallines, abnormal bloods and some chomioal materials are obtained. These preliminary applications show that photoaooustic technique is a very useful tool for research and analysis work in the fields of physics, chemistry and medical sciences.

The four samples with varying water content were kept in double layer plastic bag. The intensity data up toS (H2+K2+L2)=384 were collected on a 12kW powerful rotating anode X-Ray diffraotometer in step scan mode. The coordinates and occupancy factors of sodium ions and water molecules were determined by F0 and △F syntheses. The structure was refined by least-square method. The values of R were below 0.16. The bond lengths and bond angles derived from coordinates fell in normal ranges.
This study has shown the following results. On removal of water molecules, sodium ions in superoages migrate toward β cages and hexagonal prisms. In addition, sodium-water interactions decrease and sodium-oxygen interactions increase in dehydration process.

In this paper, the dispersion of the longitudinal optical phonon is considered in a parabolic approximation. The effective Hamiltonian is derived by the use of a perturbation method. It is found that the more the phonon dispersion, the larger is the effective mass, and the smaller the screening radius of electron-hole effective interacting potential.

The principle and characteristic feature of photoacoustic spectroscopy, which is tased on the photoaooustio effect, and its application in the investigation of catalysis are described.
The photoaooustio spectra of ZnO, Zn-Tl and Zn-Al we measured help gain an insight into the nature of benzene synthesis by catalytic dehydrogenation of prope-ne. It has been demonstrated that PAS is ver-y suitable for rapid explorating the surface property of various opaque solid catalysts and analyzing reactant gases and resultant gaseous products. Therefore, PAS is a new technique worthy of attention for catalysis study.

The boundary condition, which must be satisfied while computing the resonant frequencies of cylindrical dielectric resonators used in microwave circuits with the finite-difference method, are dealt with by introducing fiotioious variables. This paper describes in detail how the boundary conditions are treated. Compared with Pospieszalski's data, the errors in our case are less than 6.8% and 1.7%, respectively. When meshes are properly chosen, errors can be further reduced.
