A Robust Method of Real-Time Motion Estimation in Model-Based Image Coding

摘要: 分析了PLS算法的本质,并针对其缺点提出了一种改进形式;将改进算法同PLS及EKF进行了实验对比.结果表明,此算法不但能实时地估计运动参数,而且还具有良好的稳定性和准确性.

Abstract: In this paper, the nature of the PLS algorithm is analyzed. To overcome its disadvantages, a modified PLS algorithm is proposed. Experimental results are presented to provide synthetic data and real image sequences. Compared with PLS and EKF algorithm, the modified algorithm can estimate motion more accurately in real-time.
