The eigen permeabilities and eigen waves of the basic transmission modes are deduced, which play intrinsical roles in the propagation of plane waves in an unreciprocal medium. The eigen permeability correspond to the propagation coefficient of eigen waves, and all transmission modes can be considered as the linear combinations of these eigen waves. It is also demonstrated that the eigen wave is of ellipfical polarizati in general.

The mercury vapor response and the interference influence of moisture are tested using the piezoelectric crystal mercury sensor with a double wafer. Results show that in a wide range mercury vapor detection is not influenced by the sensor, when the reference wafer touches the detected gases. Moreover the interference of moisture or any other gas can be greatly decreased.

Assuming the diffused impurity profile to be Gaussian,a resolution of the minority carrier continuity equation for the diffused region thinned by etching the surface has been given. On the basis of that, computations and analyses have been made for some practical examples. It has been shown that in order to increase the short circuit current contributed by the n+ diffused region, besides the lower surface recombination velocity and lower built-in field gradient, the higher built in field itseif is also important. In the present work it has also been shown that making deeper diffusion and etching the surface are effective to increase short circuit current contributed by the n+ diffused region only if the deeper diffusion is made together with the higher surface impurity concentration.

    Abstract443)      PDF(pc) (547KB)(90)       Save
In this paper, the influence of chemical surfaee modification on charge Storage stability in the thermally grown SiO2 film electret is studied.A hydrophobic protective layer is formed on the surface of the SiO2 film electret by an appropri-ate chemical surface modification (using HMDS or DCDMS).Generally, this hydrophobic layer prevents water absorption on the surface of SiO2 and makes the SiO2 electret an excellent electret.During the permanent charge captue and storage in the SiO2 film electret,an electrochemical reaetion takes place and water is produced. The hydrophobic layer formed after chemical surface modification sometimes obstructs the excess water from diffusing out of the electret. In this condition,an unusual phenomenon occurs:the charges stored in the SiO2 electret modified by HMDS or DCDMS decay faster than surface.

The integral equation is handled using the method of momentes in the complex-frequency domain, the space discretization is fixed for all frequencies and the resulting matrix equation is solved by the conjugate gradient method. The condition of the system matrix is improved in the complex-frequency domain. Good initial estimates are obtained using an extrapolation scheme based on error minimization, thereby the conjugate gradient method converges very fast. The transient response is obtained by carrying out the inverse Laplace transfo rmation by an FFT algorithm. The results of a rectangular cylindrical cavity verify the effectiveness of the new method.

This concluson has been supported by results of PL experiments. The PL intensity and its contrast obtained on GaAs surface depend on the surface recombination and they are controlled by passivation. The results of PL experiments show the reduction of surface recombination and of the density of surface states P2S5/NH4OH treatment is more stable than the others, such as Na2S.

We found it possible to form the lamellar liquid crystal using alcohol with short chains as a cosurfactant in SDS/CnOH/H2O systems, the stability of the lamellar liquid crystal increased with the chain length of alcohol. The increase of interlayer spacing d with the chain length of alcohol was related to the d0 value and the penetration of solvent in the lamellar liquid crystal.

This paper classified the forms of forward burrs in metal cutting on the basis of the cutting motion and tool outting edges. The principles of forming and the main influencing factors of forward burr are studied, and the related theories are analyzed. Thus a clear understanding of the types, and the forming process of the burrs is obtained. The physical quantity of determiuing the tear of forward burr-limit depth of cut αpr-is given. A oertain number of measures and new restraining methods to control and decrease the forward burrs are advanced.

This paper diseusses the connection method with equality in automated theorem proving. The formal definitions are given. The theorem that a logic formula with equality is eq-valid if and only if it has a complementary formal matrix of a compound instance is proved, and several algorithms about the connec-tion method with equality are designed.
