摘要: 提出一种改进的主动轮廓模型应用于医学序列图像的分割。一方面,对内部能量函数增加约束性条件,制约轮廓的长度,使其尽可能短来避免边缘轮廓收敛到中垂线上的其它组织的较强边缘点;另一方面,利用序列图像之间局部区域的信息相关性,重新构造外部能量函数来排除纹理特征的干扰,更好地捕捉到边缘上的拐角点。实验结果表明,提出的改进算法既可以有效地检测出一些拐角点和凹点,又可以避免目标边缘收敛于某些伪边缘点,可达到良好的分割效果。

Abstract: An improved active contour model is presented for segmentation of medical image sequences. A restriction is applied to an internal energy function to make the length of contour as short as possible so as to prevent contour from converging at sharper points of other tissue on perpendicular bisector. An external energy function is constructed from the information pertinence of local region between the serial images to eliminate the interference of texture and capture corner points completely. Experimental results show that the improved algorithm can give better segmentation, which can detect any corner points and concave points, and avoid object edge converging at pseudo edge points.
